We will continue with the series:
"We Preach Christ Crucified."
This evening we turn our attention to Romans 3,
where we learn we are justified by grace alone through faith in Christ Jesus.
Pastor Sean DeFrain of Messiah, North Hollywood and St. John's Tarzanna will lead our service..In future weeks, we will have the opportunity to hear other pastors from the
Wisconsin Lutheran Synod Los Angeles Circuit Share the message with us.

Pizza and a Movie : 5:30 pm
Everyone is invited to come and enjoy pizza, salad and dessert at 5:30 pm.
Around 6:15 pm we will got to the sanctuary to view the movie: "Rediscovering God in America."
The movie's focus is on the foundation upon which our country was built.
Bench mark stopping points are Jamestown, Philadelphia, Mount Vernon and Gettysburg.Friends are always welcome!
SUNDAY, March 14

Did you ever stop to consider how fear and forgiveness have a tremendous influence on us?
Fear of God can drive us away from God, and cause us to reject his love and mercy.
Forgiveness, on the other hand, can drive us to the Lord, and rejoice in his love and mercy.
Isaiah leads us to a proper understanding of both.Christian Education : 10:45 am
We will begin a study of the "doctrinal" psalms.

March 13 : 5:30 pm
We will get together for supper in the fellowship hall , then move to the sanctuary for the movie.
This evening's feature will be "Rediscovering God in America."
About two years ago, we saw the first edition produced by Newt Gingrich.
The second part goes back to the founding of the nation and traces the godly roots of our country.
The DVD is well done and provides some interesting historical background for our nation.

Lenten Worship Midweek Services
Wednesdays Beginning: February 17th : 7:00 pm
Through the course of six consecutive weeks, our attention will be drawn to the cross of our Savior Jesus Christ.
The theme of these worship services is simple and direct, but so important:
"We Preach Christ Crucified."
For each of the six evening services, there will be a different pastor
from the
Los Angeles Circuit conducting the liturgy and preaching.
